If you come to Miami this is a must do for the Kids! They have an amazing Liger, 1100 lbs only several in the US. Worth the trip.
I purchased the tickets for the Winter Wonderland through Groupon. I went on a Saturday. First of all the parking was a disaster, the garage was full and after a 20 minute going around in circles around jungle island we were told by a parking staff member to park in the children museum and that a shuttle was going to... Hi Steffi, Thank you for your feedback. We take each of our reviews seriously and are dismayed that you are so dissatisfied with your visit. The response for our Winter Wonder Island event has been fantastic and as a result we are experiencing increased attendance on weekends. We've notified our parking operations department about your issue and they are working... More
My boyfriennd and I went on the VIP tour and everything was amazing from meeting the Leamurs to feeding the tortoise, beeing feet away from a Cassowary (decendent of a velociraptor), playing with the monkeys, and much much more! Arali was our amazing VIP tour guide who knew so much about the park and the animals which made the expierence... More
My toddlers just loved Jungle Island. There are lots of different species of parrots everywhere. We could see the tigers and panthers so close. There is a little farm with small animals so the children can feed them, so cute. It is not a big park, it takes 2 hours to see everything. We were in a week day so... More
Tip.... If u want to go get there early and run straight to the snow! Not well organized, lines for drinks are over 30 mins and by the time u get to the front drinks are hot. Nothing to do really but the snow, laser light show was not great. Save the money and trip.

I was a little surprised to see other reviews saying it was a waste of time or money. I do have to agree that admission is a bit pricey for what you get but it is a cool place to visit. To save a little money on admission we showed our AAA card and received about $10.00 off admission for... More
The place is way over priced and not much to see. We went last Saturday and the weather was nice but the place was deserted .... For a good reason. The shows were the trainers bring out individual animals and talking about their behavior. I could have stayed home and watched it on National Geographic. They offer to take pictures... More
I hate to write a bad review; I really wanted to like Jungle Island. We took a family trip there (4 adults and a 5-year-old) and spent the day. While the experience with the animals was a good one, and that should really be the most important factor, I have to say that all the other details involved in the... More

I think that the ticket price is a little high for the number of attractions, but we bought the tickets online and found a coupon so that helped. Also, we went on a weekday so it wasn't busy which was nice we were able to move through the park and sit up close during the shows. I think it is... More
