We did not have much time, but seemed like a nice place to take a walk. We started at the North end, and started driving down South. The restaurants were extremely busy, and there was live band playing in one of them.

Make sure that you will visit Ocean drive at night. Lots of people and cars driving by. Enjoy

I went down there for a conference and I live within 60 miles of South Beach. Our group was at a nice hotel and seem to luke warm service with anything outside of the hotel. Get some people that know how to provide decent service for overpriced food and drinks. Don't get pissed if you only get a 20% tip.

Every restaurant on Ocean Drive hires ladies and gents to lure you in their business: It reminds me of the old days in Boston when Combat Zone was alive. It can be a nightmare to walk from 5th street to 11th!
