A Visitor information center located in the heart of the Art Deco District, conveniently located in the same building as The Miami Design Preservation League. This center is the go to place for any and all inquiries regarding your stay here in Miami/Miami Beach. While the Art Deco Welcome Center does sell tours spanning from Everglades, The Official Art Deco Walking Tours, Audio Tours, City Tours and so on; their main priority is servicing the many visitors that walk in.

We visited early in our stay and would have been prime candidates for enthusiastic staff to encourage and inform. The experience couldn't have been any further from that. The lass serving couldn't tear herself away from her iPhone & messaging for quite some time then complained that she couldn't have a drink of water as the fountain was empty etc...

WOW, a nice welcome center with a TREASURE of a gift shop! Start here to see the Art Deco District...pick up a map and enjoy this awesome district. Remember, you must pay to park around this area-just put in the time you think you need and add extra.

If you want a souvenir, a book, jewellery or a collectible that is Art Deco, then this is the place to come. The shop is full of wonderful items so there is bound to be something for anyone. I last visited the old cramped shop which was where the Welcome Center relocated during the rebuilding of these new premises, so...
