Definately if tent camping,try to stay in sites on the small loop (1 - 19). These were shady and pretty private feeling. The rest of the campground is very open. Only a two hour drive from Miami. Take I-75 to exit 101 and stop at Publix before you get here, because you can't buy groceries anywhere nearby. There is a small concession shop at the boat basin where you can buy ice. Firewood available for $5 a bundle. As we were primitive camping, we should have chosen one of sites... more
