This is a nice zoo and a reasonable size for a city the size of Naples. The flora there is beautiful and well marked. The banyan trees are spectacular! Naples Zoo is unlike any other Zoo I have visited. The Zoo was built on a botanical garden, most of which is still intact, so the exhibits are built around this wonderful atmosphere. my wife and i use to live in Naples, and we would go to the zoo 3-4 times a year, we now live 90 miles north and still make trips down to show it to friends, especially friends with kids. This is a great 1/2 day zoo where you can meet the handlers, and actually touch some of the animals.... more
