This state park is at the north tip of Vanderbilt Beach. We happened upon it on our GPS and were so glad we did. For just $3 entry per car, we watched a beautiful sunset and collected gorgeous sea shells. Parking garages elsewhere we found in Naples started at $5 or $6. Be thankful that the State of Florida preserved this lovely stretch of beach along the gulf, located at the northerly end of Vanderbilt Beach. The sand is soft and the water is gentle. There is a small admission charge but parking is located along a drive that runs the length of the beach, so after you park its just a... more
