Our afternoon 2 hour eco-cruise was excellent. We saw many bird species, including egrets, great blue heron, ibis, pelicans, cormorants and even a bald eagle! We saw many dolphin up close. The guide was knowledgable and kept us interested. I would recommend this activity highly for all ages, but especially for wide-eyed youngsters. It also is very economical.

Our afternoon boat tour with the Marine Discovery Center was outstanding. We have paid two and three times as much and not had as good of an experience. We saw several dolphin and a wide range of birds. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable

This was an enjoyable way to spend some time. I always enjoyed nature tours, and these folks really show you local nature.

3 of us booked a kayak tour, we went out for 3 hours with a stop on an island for lunch, Todd our guide was very informative on critters. coastal environment, and eco system, we are not youngsters but it was great fun and doable

My husband and I loved the boat tour we took in March 2011. It was relaxing, but also very informative. The tour guide was very nice, full of knowledge.

Our eco tour was scheduled for 3:30 and, because of the new location of the main headquarters, we arrived around 3 PM, paid and looked at the start of the what will be a nice exhibit given some time. The Center is a great place to take your family- it is very interactive (petting rays and turtles) and visual (seeing animals rehabbing injuries). Combining a visit here with the lighthouse makes for a great day.
