We wenton the 9am shelling excursion to Costa Cayo. Our 2 guides were excellent. We found numerous beautiful large sea shells and many sand dollars. On the trip back, the guides pointed out numerous dolphins and even told all of us to go to the back of the boat so they could create a wake. In the wake, the dolphins... more

Island sun provided free buy one get one coupons making it way more affordable. Take your own snacks it is permitted. Also went on their shelling tour. It was okay. It got rained out and the... more

My first impression of Captiva Cruises was when I made the reservations. The lady was very nice, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. The directions and information were very good and yes, a parking fee had to be paid but I didn't mind. When we walked into McCarthy's we were greeted by another very nice person. On the way... more

This is one of the few available on Captiva. Maybe the only one? Anyway, we took a "half-day" which is really 9-12noon to Costa Caya for the beach and shelling. The cruise was smooth, the crew told stories and history, and the ride was nice. Costa Caya had rough waters that day, and we didn't hav much luck w/shells, though... more

My Dad and I went to Cayo Costa State Park on the cruise. We did the half-day and it was awesome! The amount and size of shells was amazing-if you are interested in shells or just hanging out on a quiet beach, this trip is for you. It is narrated and the price is right for what you get. They... more

Our family went to Sanibel during a really cold week. We had a private boat charter with someone in Fort Myers, but due to the weather we had to cancel. We still wanted to get out on the water, so we decided to do the Captiva Cruise since you could ride inside. We went to Cabbage Key. The restaurant there... more

This outfit really exceeded my expectations- great staff, beautiful boats, amazing experience. We went on a half day (a.m.) cruise to a small island 25 minutes by boat. It was a beautiful, magical time we will never forget. more

My husband and I took a sunset cruise with Captiva Cruises in June. It was one of the best memories from our vacation! We parked at the marina and were taken by bus to the South Seas resort. Since we were early, we enjoyed walking around the resort for about 30 minutes before boarding the boat. The exploring was fun... more
