Made the terrible mistake of visiting during one of the busiest and cold seasons. We were there on Thanksgiving. The welcome is absolutely business like and instructive. My idea of tranquility isn't spending an entire day with people in close quarters. Since the coral pool was cold, there weren't many people in there and I snorkeled a couple of times.... more

Myself and family of 4 went to Discovery Cove on 30th August 2009. We had bought tickets in the UK and turned up a day early -this wasn't a problem and we were allowed to have our dolphin swims a day early. The park is gorgeous, golden sandy beaches, gorgeous food and all included in the ticket price. We had... more

My low rating is not for the park itself, but for their No Refund policy unless the entire park closes down which probably rarely happens. My wife and I were there on business and the weather turned cold at the last minute due to a sudden cold front coming in at the last minute. The management of the park would... more

If swimming with dolphins is something you've always wanted to do, go for the trainer for a day! We had a wonderful time with our trainer, Sarah. We spent most of our day with her while she took us through the park attractions including behind the scenes ....mmmmm fish kitchen! The dolphin swims were more than i expected... from simply... more

This place was wonderful. We arrived at about 8:20am and there was already a decent size line for check in. The line moved fast and we were soon on our way to collect our vest or wetsuit and our snorkel equipment, and then to find a locker. There were people along the way directing you where to go so that... more

One word - Amazing. The entire day was just incredible. From the moment you enter the car park you are treated like royalty. Visitors are given their photo ID pass for the day as they walk in to the welcome centre and if you have booked the dolphin swim they will give you a time to report to a specified... more

I visited DC earlier this year based on some of the rave reviews I'd heard, so I was expecting a lot. Most of it was fullfilled. The good: The ambiance is very nice, the atmosphere is very relaxing as the number of people allowed into the park is limited. This gives you plenty of space to do whatever you want... more

Went to Discovery Cove. I did not do the dolphin experience (although some in my group did and loved it). Besides being treated like VIPs the whole day (everyone is treated this way, not just me!) I thought the snorkeling in the coral reef was incredible. I've done some snorkeling in the Florida Keys and this was just as good... more

... what a great day. helpful staff, the free food and drink was superb and the options on the day were excellent. The sort of place swimmers should adore and non swimmers enjoy. One minor gripe was the number of smokers freely lighting up. The package we had,i ncluding free Sea World admission, made it a day we will never... more

I Have spent two fantastic weeks in Orlando and the only disapointment was Discovery Cove. The idea was to have an exhilarating swim with a dolphin, however I wish that I had spent $7 to feed the dolphins at Seaworld and saved a load of money. The whole time we were in the pool with the dolphin we were getting... more
