Its one of those places you instantly feel at home in. This neighborhood as great feeling if community, all encouraging customers to use their competitors restaurants and bars. Plenty if things to do on Washington Street that means you can ditch the car and enjoy the city and what the local facilities offer. Looking forward to my next stop in... More

Thornton Park is a neighborhood in the "Real Orlando." Beautiful historic homes and bed and breakfasts withing walking distance of restaurants or the park at Lake Eola. Close by to down town. This is a small area where locals go to mostly eat and hang out. Most popular place is Dexters of Thornton Park. Nice resturant with a artsy flair. Certain night there is live music. Or Hue, most locals go there for dinner. Very trendy.
