Zooworld was okay, nothing fabulous. If you are bored and looking for something to do with small children, it will make an hour or two pass quickly. It was pretty expensive considering there's not much to it. the petting zoo part was lame, all you can do is reach through the fence and pet a goat. the shows they put... more

Not great, but not bad either. The staff was very nice and the crowds were slowing down from College Spring Break. If you are looking for a change of pace and want to spend a few hours away from the sun and beach, this place will fit the bill. more

Before our visit, ZooWorld embodied pretty much every bad stereotype my wife and I could think of regarding the touristy Florida panhandle and its usually pathetic animal attractions. Though obviously far removed from the once-ubiquitous "reptile farms" that lined every major route to the Redneck Riviera, ZooWorld, from the outside at least, smacked of everything you don't want to think... more

Zoo World is a NON- PROFIT EDUCATIONAL facility. Keeping this in mind, here is an excellent opportunity to teach children the importance of taking care of the future. If you want a zoo with sheer entertainment, go to Animal Kingdom. This zoo takes in rescues and animals who have been rejected by their parents, and rehabilitates them. The zoo also... more

While visiting Panama City, FL my family and I visited Zoo World. It was a wonderful experience for my children. They really enjoyed seeing the different animals and were fascinated with the white tigers and the alligators. The petting zoo area was a real plus for them also. They enjoyed feeding the animals. Their favorite was the giraffe as he... more

I have visited the zoo twice. Last year and the year before. I was not impressed. Most of the animals seemed pitiful and many of the exhibits were empty. I found that there seemed to be too few attendants and most of the animal quarters seemed squalid and, in some cases, much to small. I believe in what zoos try... more

Went to this, and it was horrible! The highlight of the trip was the petting zoo, and the giraffe. Defintely not worth the 11.00pp to get in. I spent most of the time feeling sorry for the animals (the facilities are grossly undersized and not very clean. Also, their idea of "entertainment" for the poor things was to string some... more

We truly enjoyed the time we spent with our family there. It was nice and peaceful walking through the botanical gardens. We loved the lions and panthers, and Sidney the giraffe!!! We would like to see an elephant added. It would also be enjoyable for more narrations for the animals of some sort. more
