Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This wasn't a bad municipal golf course. The clubhouse is nice with a huge restaurant and small snack bar and small pro shop. The practice putting green is fairly large but was in bad condition the day we played there. There is also a practice sand bunker and full size grass tee driving range. Overall a pretty nice warm up area.
The course is not as nice. The layout is on a small piece of property so it was very easy walking (with the rental pull cart) but the holes are right on top of each other. Several holes had blind shots so first time players will not know where to hit. Also, if the course is crowded, you could easily hit into the group in front of you and injure someone.
There were only a few bunkers and they are strategically placed to guide you around the course and some of them were beautiful white like the Gulf sand. Cart paths are in pretty good shape, which is unusual for a muni. Some were sand, some concrete, and some just ended into the fairway.
The most annoying thing was the group of 4 in front of us. They seemed to wander around aimlessly and did not consider letting us play through, which did not help the experience. No one from the golf club was driving around to make sure the play was moving along.

My wife and I golfed here last year and had a much better experience. The gentleman in the pro shop was very friendly, and the price was right, but that’s about all of the positives. The fairways had very little grass and the greens were long and shaggy with dead spots all over them. It took us almost 3 hours to play 9 holes, so we packed it instead of finishing. There was a ranger, but I think he just rode around and talked to the locals. Won’t be back.

Looked on their website for a tee time, but they looked like they were wide open. We took a chance and drove from perdido key, hoping we could get out. The gent in the pro shop was super nice, gave us some tutelage on the layout (front nine not very well marked on where the next tee box is). We got right out and played 18 holes in about 3.5 hours😃. Fairways were rough, but the greens were nice (big and fast). All in all we had an enjoyable time. Priced very reasonable for 18 holes.
If your looking to go out and swing the sticks (especially if you’re from Wisconsin), you’ll have fun. Much, much nicer courses around, but we had a blast.

I just played Osceola for the first time today, after living in this area many years. I'll admit, I was expecting the worse with it being a municipal course, but I was pleasently surprised. The clubhouse is very nice looking, and all of the staff I ran into were very helpful and VERY friendly!
They have a driving range now, which I understand they didn't in the past. (The main reason I never playd it before) One thing I really liked about their driving range, is they have nets about 10-20 yards out to practice chips. I haven't seen that at other courses i've played. They have a nice sized putting reen as well, and I found it to replicate the speed of the greens on the course.
The course itself seems a little on the short side to me, but it presented a decent challenge, and I enjoyed the layout of a lot of the holes. The fairways were in decent shape for a "muni", but what I really enjoyed were the greens! There are a lot of greens that have some very nice undulations in them, and they were fast, and rolled very well! There are a total of 5 par 3's and 3 par 5's (par 70). A couple of the par 3's are short and fun, and a couple of the par 5's are reachable for decent players.
Overall, it was an enjoyable round. The pace of play was pretty good for the amount of players out there, and the beverage cart came by at least 4 times during the round. I'll definately be playing there again!

Not returning. No Marshall to control pace of play. Had single jump in front of us. Added to already slow round. When I asked the man running to register for a voucher because it was so slow and we got jumped in front of by mentioned single, his reply was ya, we don't do that sorry. Totally unacceptable. Won't be returning.

As a beginner golfer the course was great because none of the holes are extremely far and the price is reasonable. Decent clubhouse and the layout allows you easy access to get back and forth for drinks or snacks. Highly recommend giving it a shot if your looking for a quick game.

As a former rabid golfer,(now reformed to a "twice-a-month" guy), here's the straight scoop. I think this is a former country club that went under and now owned by the City of Pensacola. Having said that, the layout is not bad, but it is very average in it's condition and operation. It's not very expensive (as are some of the courses in the Panhandle), but you do get what you pay for. No marshall, the players were going off randomly and in groups of 1-5. Tee times are just a suggestion. Greens were bumpy and not well groomed. I counted multiple old cup locations (a sign of sloppy upkeep), fairways had not been wet since the last rain, and the cups we putted at were probably 2-4 days old (rounded edges and "walked-down" around it. This is the kind of course where people go to learn to play golf (one guy let us play through and said it was his first time to play). If my wife hadn't been playing with me, I would have left early. I say all this to just give it a fair assessment for beginning and experienced golfers. If you are really serious about your game, don't go. If you are a beginner, or just out for some fresh air with some buddies, go for it.

The fairways are tight. But this is a great public course to play. It was remodeled in 2011. The staff are nice and the greens fee is cheap.

Very forgiving course and a good bargin for the money. Real old florida style with mature trees. Recently updated and improved. Worth a visit.

I have no idea. We just visited and played there. Go to their website to find ways to contact the course to ask. They should have the rates listed on site. Just google "Osceola Municipal Golf Course". If they don't have the info you are looking for they will have contact information so you can ask.
