Live Oaks are incredible, and this reservation is beautifully done. This place is a cool, shady and peaceful getaway from the crowded (but still amazing) beaches in the area.

Very nice exhibits, a lot of history there. Well worth the stop.
Bring your bike as there are beautiful oaks to see. This is where they use to log oaks to build great Naval ships a long time ago. Neat history but not a lot of things for younger kids. A great place to commune with nature.
Nice exhibits and information about the seashore. This area is actually the headquarters of the National Seashore but is not the seashore itself so don't be disappointed. This was a good park that is free to visit. There is a nature center where you can learn all about the Live Oaks and their importance in ship building including hands-on activities.
