The Naval Aviation Museum was great. There is a hugh collection of war planes, loads of information, fun for kids and adults alike. The only part I didn't like was entering the air base check point. We visited the museum on a recent trip to the Gulf coast. I had been to the museum so many times as a kid. Pensacola was the vacation destination of choice for my family. My grandparents actually still visit the museum every summer. They continue to add exhibits & update things. It was an amazing visit. The museum is free.... more

This was the COOLEST museum! The walking tour was long, but VERY interesting. Everyone there was so friendly and helpful. We learned a lot! There are both stairs and elevators. If you are in the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach AL or the surrounding area for a vacation, don't hesitate to drive the 15 minutes to Pensacola to check this place out. It's HUGE! Being stationed on the USS Lexington and USS Forrestal back in the early nineties, I can't believe I waited this long to see this. What a great day and great memories. I recommend a visit by anyone. more
