Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First and foremost this review is being written a long while after my law enforcement dive team visited this place from Houston TX. It's just been really busy and it's time I wrote about our experience. (Found their card and realized I never left a review) We called a few months before we arrived and arranged the Oriskany dive trip. After driving the 8 hours from Houston (Yes we did exceed the speed limit a bit, easy to do in a marked car) we arrived a day before our dive to meet everyone but was told a storm was coming in and that it would probably have a negative affect on the next days trip. Dalton said, "Lets go now!" We laughed and said ok, so after the drive we got on the boat and left. We didn't even pay for anything including a new underwater dive camera we needed and was told that "we'll take care of it all later". If you can't trust us who can you trust right? Trip went great, vis wasn't the best but not their fault. still about 30 foot vis, great compared to what we dive in normally, ZERO vis....It's all relative. Afterwards we came back and went to the bar and settled up. One of the guys that worked there part time, a local deputy loaned me his upper and said I would need it, he was right. My Texas 3 mil was a bit cold at 130Ft. THE MOST DOWN TO EARTH GROUP I HAVE EVER MET. KNOWLEDGEABLE AT WHAT THEY DO AND HIGHLY RECOMMENED THESE GUYS WITHOUT HESITATION! FELT AT HOME WITHIN MINUTES OF BEING THERE. Sorry for the delay in my review (A few years) but better late than never. Thanks again you guys, You rock!

A recent trip to Pensacola Beach visiting my daughter's NAVY fiancé gave me the opportunity to use Due South Custom Charters to plan a weekend dive trip. From the start Captain Dalton Kennedy was quite accommodating, even tailoring the dive on suggestions I had offered. In conjunction with MBT Dive Shop staff who also earn fond praise, our 'team' were expertly outfitted. With the splendid assistance of Dive Master Steve Johnson we dropped down right atop our sites where there were plenty of fish to see. Even with some extra sightseeing Cap'n Kennedy had followed our bubbles and was waiting as we surfaced. Full of wit and ample facts the trip out and back from the sites was shortened by Dalton's knowledge of the area and chats with Dive Master Steve.
