Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Disappointed. You'd think the city would put the effort into their kids enjoyment and education experiences.

Sadly, this place misses the mark on so many levels.

It's shockingly small, very few actual learning opportunities and seemed like they only kept the doors open so they could say they had a Children's Museum.

The facility was in good condition, but extremely small and very expensive considering the amount of time it kept my kids entertained. The activities were geared toward very young children—I would say age 6 and less, not up to 11 as they say in the description.

We have been going for a few years and my daughter loves it. The first floor has a mini village the kids can explore and play in. Upstairs has a few displays for older kids. They just added the Publix display and the kids are going crazy for it.

This is a neat little place for children to be able to run a round and play for a while. It has some neat history to the building and some items inside. It does cost but the ticket gets you admission for a week and to the museum across the street. It is in an awesome little shop and walk area, so once you are done playing you can walk through the shops and restaurants in the area.

This is for children, but I had a blast with my five year old nephew at the Children's Museum. There are legos and costumes from the colonial era; all kinds of things to interact with, whether you read or not. There are two floors depicting the history of the area and there is not too much to see that you get tired of being there.

For the price of $8 per adult and $4 per child it was poor. It included several other historic attractions but if you don't have time for other attractions and only want to go to that museum for a day be wiser with your money. Our 3 year old was finished in less than 1 hour. The legos had a sign not for children under 3. Adults should be free.

I took my two younger boys (ages 9 months & 3 years) to the children’s museum during vacation for a midday activity. The museum was very clean. Both of my children enjoyed playing in the various rooms available. I thought that some of the materials were in need of replacement due to bite marks or excessive wear. A lot of the historical information seemed too wordy for children to comprehend.
