Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It used to be amazing, since it was sold, it has gone to where I never come back. Lazy river filled with leaves, i even saw a spider in the water. Old, rusty slides, bad health inspection records, and more. Most rides closed and all look like they have been put in during the 80's. So, never come here, go over to Destin for better.

We arrived there in the afternoon, noticing more then have of the amusement park rides being down, we asked a bunch of questions. We went to the water park side and was told what they offered when I asked. I asked about time, and was never given a direct answer, we were told we had plenty of time, alot of time for everything. It was $37.50 and $10 for a locker. Not an overwhelming amount of stuff, and it's a little run down, but we set out for fun. Spent 1st 30 mins in the kid section for are child, then we started on the bigger slides, and they were fun. I go to ride my 3rd slide of the day, and was told they r closing! There was a sign that said pool closed at 6, it's 430, only hour and a half of being there! We'll turns out I was told wrong, they close at 5 and they actually turned the water off to all the big slides at 430!!!!!! We were not allowed to go on them, even tho there was another 30 mins! It was ridiculous, I was livid, and will NEVER go again, and trying to warn everyone else as well!

We only went to the Water Park. Got there a half hour after opening, 1 water slide was working. After a half hour, 2 more were working, We left after 2 hours n the 2 biggest slides were still not working. The Lazy River is great, but had a lot of leaves in it. There are trees, which the shade is a bonus, but the leaves were everywhere, shouldn’t take much to blow them in the morning. There were other places that were open for the little ones that looked pretty good, but for over 10, it was kind of a bust. The concrete is really hot, so water shoes would be a bonus. Most of the life guards were a delight, so nice n friendly……one slept at every stand she was at. This reminded me of an old miniature golf course, was run down, but minimally did what it was supposed to.

We went to the water park 6/26/2022 and was told that they were having issues with the lockers, which did not bother us. We paid for our admissions and headed to the lazy river. Once we were in the lazy river we noticed that 4 of the 6 waterslides were closed. I would not recommend at all. Over $70 for 2 people and 2/3 of the slides were closed. They should have mentioned that before we paid.

So disappointed to drive 2 hours to pull up and see what this place looked like. I was horrified. It looked so rundown, I wasn't sure if it was even open. Planned on doing all activities but the rides honestly looked unsafe and there wasn't an employee in site so it looked like the rides were closed. The arcade was small and I decided not to waste the money and just do the waterpark. That didn't go well either because most of the kiddie stuff was broken. Would never recommend or go again. Not worth $40 a person!!!

My husband went and did the unlimited go carts and laser tag and it was very outdated to say the least. The associate we dealt with did not even want to go to the go cart area for us to ride go carts and he had a very smart attitude. We are very, very disappointed and will not be back.

This place is big enough to host fun for the whole family, but small enough for the kids to have some freedom without being too far from our sight. Recommend, especially for the water park!

We visited Sam's Fun City two days in a row.... The 1st day we stayed in & played arcade games with our children (8 yrs old & 14 yrs old). We had a blast as we stayed for 3-4 hours playing games. We found all staff to be very friendly & helpful. The 2nd (our last day in the Pensacola area) we promised our children a go-cart ride. After making sure our son was tall enough to drive a go-cart, we purchased 5 vouchers for those rides. The attendant at the track was rude. No other way to put it. Even though my son was 12 days shy of being 9, weighs 100, & almost 5 ft tall...His reply to my son after asking him his age was, "Nope" "You're too young to drive." I asked if there was any way he could ride & the unprofessional response I received was "nope". We took our vouchers & headed back to the cashier to hopefully get a refund (with a very upset son). As we were walking back to the building, we met a cheerful employee (MARK) that greeted us "How are ya'll & having a good day?" I replied not too good at the moment. This employee stopped in his tracks & came over to us. I explained to him what had happened... He asked us to come inside & wait for a moment. He was gone just a few minutes & asked us to follow him back to the go-cart track. We all rode the go-carts as all we had to do was sign a few waivers... The attendant was still rude as he directed us out of the go-cart stalls. I have worked with the public & realize you can't please everyone. However, when you do work with the public, you can't let your "bad day" reflect on how you treat others you come in contact with. We are very thankful to have met Mr. Mark in our moment of being a victim of attendants "bad day". Mr. Mark offering to listen & help us made our sons day (as well as ours).

Well for us Sam’s Fun City was a quick trip to let the kids ride the go carts and play laser tag. After 4:30... it’s one price for both activities, and it’s unlimited. And we were from out of town, with a bunch of kids and they need something fun to do and fast. This fit the bill. So for me it’s all good..no more, no less.
