Played Palm Aire...Decent course not amazing, great price, not to crowded
There are three 18 hole courses, each with a distinct style. Accessible and convenient. Facility is well kept, although starting to show age, but not an issue when golfing.
I'm not here for golf and this IS a golf resort BUT I can testify to the accomodations.

I have been going to Palm-Aire in Pompano for years. The Oaks & Cypress courses are as good as they are challenging. The condos in the area are incredibly affordable now too, so I know a few people who have been buying them up as vacation properties.

Visiting southeast Florida over Christmas, I wanted a special gift for my teenagers, so I gave them "a day with a pro" via Conte's Palm Aire Golf Academy. They played a round at the Cypress course where Bill Plotkin adapted the round into a teaching opportunity. He emailed the "before" videos to my phone. He gave so much constructive feedback...
