This is a beautiful area to come and enjoy the beaches and relax. Panama City Beach is more than an hour away. Appalachicola is about 30 or 40 minutes away.

The gulf water is not crystal clear and emerald green like it is in PCB but the beaches are quiet and St Joe Peninsula State Park is a little gem. The dunes are high and breathtaking at the park and you can hike for many miles beyond the last road access on either the beach or bayside.

I love this uncrowded area. Ialso love the lack of tons of lights. To look at the sky at night andat the right time see the Milky Way is awesome!
The town was full of local people that were very nice and helpful. The view of the ocean as we rode along just outside of town was more than beautiful. If you visit make sure you stop by Coneheads to get an Ice Cream.
