Fisherman's Village is a great day trip destination at the very least. I am a resident of Punta Gorda and regularly take a trip to Fisherman's Village for shopping and for having a bite to eat. We stayed at Fisherman's Village Time-shares, while we were looking for a home in the area and loved every minute of it, we now own in Heritage Oak Park, only 10 minutes away and visit it often, I recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
