Went there with the husband and kids. Absolutely loved the hourly cannon demos and the talk with the park ranger on the history of the fort. Will be back!

We stopped by to tour the fort but were greeted by large crowds since the National Park Service had free admission during the Veteran's Day weekend. Bring water with you. view is beautiful. it is very hot here. wear comfy shoes. not commercial which was nice. they give kids a "to do" booklet which once completed, they get a badge and a certificate which kept my daughter somewhat interested.

This place is truly a must see. A lot of history has taken place here. Don't forget the sunblock though.

If there's only one thing you do in St. Augustine, it should be this. This is the heart of St. Augustine. You'll be so pleased with how much you learn about the history of the oldest city in the USA. Wonderful! Enjoy!

The firing of the guns was very cool, would suggest calling the fort to see if they are shooting them off on the day you are going.

Very interesting place to visit. The views from the top are amazing. A great place to take school aged children.

We found it difficult to park around this facility. On the second expedition we were able to use public parking adjacent to the facility. This old fort is somewhat small, but it served it's function.
