For the seeming popularity of this attraction, surprised more has not been done to make it more "formal". The lunch place, while tasty, is what one would find at a fair. The other exhibits while interesting, are inexpensively done. The gift shop is too kitschy - the nice jugs of water of yesteryear have been replaced by plain glass bottles.... More

As we are Scottish this attraction did'nt have the same appeal as it would if we were American citizens, but we enjoyed it for what it was, it was very educational to us and we are glad to have had this opportunity to visit this historic site. We enjoyed the planetarium show and loved seeing the peacocks strutting their stuff.... More

First of all, this is a historical site, not a theme park, so if you understand this than I don't think you will be disappointed. Can you stay here all day with your small children, no. I would say you could probably visit here and then walk up the street (a real short walk) to the Old Jail and make... More

I read some of the bad reviews before deciding to go there myself with my wife. We did not bring the kids with us as this was a couples weekend. First thing first...your kids MAY have a hard time staying there all day. There are no thrill rides or fast exciting things. If your kids get bored easily and are... More

It was kind of a let down. We walked all the way from the fort to the fountain to find out it was $12 per person to enter. Since we walked all that way we decided to go in. The actual fountain was definitely a let down. There was a trickle of water in a cave with a guy handing... More

Drink the water! It may work for you, but it didn't for me. Nice attraction, but I expected "more".

I'll admit to really only going to see and drink from the Fountain of Youth. The site itself is pretty large and there a few places you can wander around to read about the history, interact with actors in period-time dress, and take good photos. You can see and drink water from the Fountain of Youth (taken from the well,... More

We visited the park while touring around St. Augustine. The park is nicely kept and everyone should see the Fountain of Youth while in the city. The planetarium and discovery globe were nice and my daughter enjoyed them. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, sharing alot of history about the park. We enjoyed the canon firing and indian village.... More

Before I traveled to St. Augustine I read the reviews on Tripadvisor about this park and other sites to visit. The reviews on Fountain of Youth were mixed, but we were so happy we decided to go! The day we attended there was a demo of cannon firing, demos in the Planetarium and Discovery Globe. Out in the Indian village... More
