This was my husband and I first time going to Ripley's. We purchased a discounted ticket that included the trolley ride for three days and one play for mini golf all for $30 each. We think it was a good deal. Ripley's is full of interesting artifacts and pictures. It's definitely one of those attractions that once you do it... more
This is a very interesting place to visit. It is like the top place to go when visiting Saint Augustine. Hint #1: Follow the signals to avoid missing details. Hint #2: Don't put any money in athe coin machines inside (Like the FORTUNE TELLER or PSYCHIC HAND/READER machines, they are out of order but they don;t tell you. Hint #3:... more
Ripley's is always a great place to visit, this time we wanted to try their ghost tour. The tour give out ghost meters and cameras and starts out on their ghost train through the city of St. Augustine with theatrical guides telling stories of the old city. Then we got off and walked to several locations to take pictures and... more
Terrible might be a bit strong so I'll give it a 2 instead of 1, but the Ripley's Museum is a waste of money and not that interesting. A few unusual items but mainly posters on the wall. We took our 10 year old and 7 year and were only marginally entertained. There were a few exhibits my 7 year... more
First of all, even with a coupon for $1 off it is still like $13 a piece. Most of the displays are photos or posters of items that are in the other Ripley's museums as I have been to several in different states. It was not interesting at all. I was really dissappointed with it. Save you money. more
I went to Ripleys I guess about 15 years ago (or so before I was married) My wife had never been there so we went the first week of Feb. I seems I saw most of the same things that where there then. I did see just a few things ( but, not many that where new ) I think... more
Originally, we wanted to stop here on the way back from Disney World, but after reading the reviews here I decided not to waste my money. Well, my son really wanted to go so I said what the heck and we went. I'm sure glad we did because it was a highlight on our trip!!! From the reviews I had... more
We have been to both the Ripley's museum and have been on the walking ghost tour. Both of them had some very interesting information but were very mildly entertaining and not worth the money. Most of the exhibits at Ripley's museum are pictures and not actual artifacts in the museum. The walking ghost tour is not scary and most of... more
The ghost tour from Ripley's isn't just a ghost "investigation", it's also a historical tour of what has happened in Saint Augustine's history. The tour guides are informative, friendly and animated... but not cheesy and there's no people trying to scare you hiding in the bushes or behind walls. I would go on this tour again next time I'm in... more
