Like the course, but plan on five hours, with lots of waiting at the tee box, as the pace of play is very slow. No active management by course advisors to move players along.

We have played this course for years, and enjoyed every visit. Staff is friendly and helpful. course always in great shape.

My first round in St. Augustine was at South Hampton, and it was very enjoyable. The staff was exceptionally courteous, and the course was in great shape. The fairways were slighty more forgiving than other courses in the area, and the greens were enjoyable for putting (unlike most other area courses, where I spent the day putting on a surface...

The fairways and greens , actually the entire course are in excellent condition, like playing off carpet. The course is and excellent layout for both the low and high handicap players. You will want to come back for more.
