Make sure you stop here when visiting St. Augustine. You can just take a walk inside and marvel at the architecture, frescoes, and handiwork that make up the building. I visited St. Augustine during Easter weekend and chose to attend a service here which was not what I am used to but it was interesting to experience. more
So glad someone sent their review in on this. If you want to do St. Augustine on a budget, this was a definate must stop and enjoy! This church is a must see as you take in the sights of St. Augustine. It doesn't matter if you're not a person of faith...you can still appreciate the beauty of the structure. Henry Flagler built this church as a memorial to his daughter who died in childbirth. The carvings, woodwork, stained glass are all a marvel. Taking pictures is... more
The interior of this church, especially the ceiling, was beautiful. Henry Flagler is buried here as well. We stopped here during our tour of the old town in a horse-drawn carriage. Well worth it. more
Walking distance from anything in Saint Augustine, and all the tours stop here. Worth a stop. Closed the doors around 4, so make sure to make it an earlier stop in the day to walk around inside and the grounds outside. more
The beauty of Flagler Memorial Presbyterian Church is hard to capture on film with my limited skills, but it is a gorgeous place with incredible windows and architecture, pleasant gardens, and a free site for peaceful moments in Saint Augustine, whatever your faith or lack thereof. My only regret was not being there on a day when services were held... more
