We went to Pass-a-grille beach for the first time 10-8-09 and what a nice beach! It is a nice stretch of white soft sand. There are a bunch of quaint beach eateries along the other side of the main road and a great little ice cream joint. I definitely recommend it! more

I want it all to myself! Found this nice beach town by way of my GPS two years ago. What a find! Live in Orlando and hit this beach once a month. Do yourself a favor and stay at one of the local motels, lay back and enjoy the best destination on the beach. Sun set is better than Key... more

I have stayed at Pass-a-Grille twice and am returning again this Christmas to introduce my grown sons and thier families to this lovely spot. I love being able to spend the week without driving. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance and I can take the trolley if i want to go farther. A grouper sandwich at the Hurricane... more

Absolutely loved Pass-A-Grille. Was so nice to come down Gulf Blvd, see Don Cesar, and know you're leaving all the crowds and noise behind. Beach was wonderful, not crowded at all, water warm as bath water, and friendly people everywhere. We had to use the surf wheelchair while there and it was very helpful that it was right at the... more

This place is charming. We liked just driving through just so we could look at all the lovely houses. Pass-a-grille is very clean and very laid back. It is in contrast to all of the other areas along the St.Pete's / Clearwater coast that we saw, which were all much more touristy and brash. We dined here on Christmas Day,... more

Wish we had found Pass-a-Grille last week. We are only here for one week now and what a great local. It is a quiet, low key community with many ammenities. Great restaurants within walking distance from our hotel. Small boutiques and art gallerys make for interesting shopping. On the weekends there is an art show and craft bazzar on the... more

If you choose to go fishing while your in the St. Pete beach area this is the place to do it. Every single person on the boat caught fish, you get to keep them too... They will actually clean them for you. The captain and crew were great... my husband actually made me come along for this and I enjoyed... more

My family spends our summer vacations in Pass A Grille every year. Having three children, we like to avoid the congestion and party scene of St. Pete Beach, and feel like Pass A Grille is our secret place. We are able to stay in quiet family inns, play on a gorgeous beach, snorkel, swim, ride bikes, take the shuttle to... more

We recently spent a weekend in the St. Pete Beach area. Unfortunately, we didn't venture down to Pass-A-Grille until the last day. If I had known how charming this area was, we would definitely have spent more time there. While St. Pete Beach has lovely beaches, good restaurants and hotels, it is a city setting. Pass-A-Grille seems to have a... more

I love the Pass-A-Grille beach area. It's a quaint neighborhood. We stayed in a small co-op apartment directly across from the beach. It was absolutely perfect. There are plenty of small restaurants and small inns in the area that you can walk to. It's a short drive up the coast to St. Pete Beach, where you will find high rise... more
