This sobering, well-planned museum is well worth a visit. There's plenty of free parking and the admission price is reasonable. For me, the highlights of the museum were the boxcar, of course, and the gallery of portraits upstairs of Holocaust survivers with their hand written comments. Incredibly inspiring! We took our four kids with us, even our 6 and 8... more

The Florida Holocaust museum is a very informative, educational, and at some times even emotional museum. This is a self exploratory expierence with an audio device that you can control at your own pace. The museum is very quiet, and usually not very crowded - they have a lot of artifacts from the concentration camps including an original boxcar. It... more

In 2003 when my husband and I visited the museum I was more aware. But still in disbelief. In 1995 My peers and I took a class of dropout prevention students on a field trip to the museum in Chicago. This became a class project. We met two survivors who were able to sit and share their experiences with us.... more
