A sculpture of a man reading a newspaper on the outside drew us into the building where my son took several photos of a flying boat replica. The room contained many model planes and information regarding the history of airlines. Perfectly respectable though small historic museum.

This museum is nicely arranged and quite enjoyable! It has a variety of exhibits including the history of scheduled passenger flight? We enjoyed our visit? It is small so can be seen in a morning visit so easily works into your schedule before seeing other attractions.

Was very surprised at how interesting this museum is. The layout is so well done and kept our interest the entire time we were there. We paid senior citizen rate of $9 each. Young kids might be board as there is a lot of reading about the exhibits. Highly recommend this venture. Use the trolley to get to other places.... More

Located on the road to "The Pier" on St. Pete's downtown waterfront (Tampa Bay), this is a great local gem with new exhibits each time I visit the museum. It is not too expensive, and it is loaded with Tampa Bay/St Pete history. Well worth a couple of hours to visit.

A wonderfully presented local museum that will allow you to explore St. Petersburg's great history that went from a sleepy town of fishermen to a thriving tourist haven. Very nice display of St. Pete history. Gave me a deeper appreciation for the foresight of the forebearers who realized how special the aspect of public waterfront use would become to future generations.

A small but interesting museum, with many exibits to view. You can take as long or as little as you need to view, but you will come away with a better education about St Petersburg.

The location at the foot of the pier is great, but there has to be a better use of the space. Five minutes is all it takes. It needs some revitalization or some new use.

First commercial aircraft is on display in this museum. First flight was between St. Petersburg and Tampa. A 2-seater plane, so only one passenger was allowed.
