We drove all the way down from Clearwater since it was open late on a Sunday afternoon. It was a total waste of time and money. The aquarium is pathetic - save the admission fee and go to Petco!! more

I think the Pier is great! They have live entertainment on Sunday outside. You can watch the boats and the sea gulls. This is a very relaxing place to go. It is fun for kids too, it has the aquariaum and little shops. It is a must see. There is also trolly rides and bikes you can rent. more

The pier consists of junk stores and shopping mall type eateries. Unless you are headed there for a concert or some special event, I really would skip this place.
