Huge, get an island map. Prepare to walk a bit to get a spot since it's so big. Parking if a bit of a walk, but once you are inside the area, it's heaven!

I wish they had a place that was renting umbrellas and chairs. Aside from that, it was clean and no obnoxious birds to steal your food. The water is gorgeous!

We spent alot of time at Bowman's Beach. It was clean and beautiful. They have clean bathroom facilities with outdoor shower and water spigots.

Not my favourite beach, that would be either the Lighthouse for dolphin watching or Blind Pass to see the herons and egrets stealing fish from the fishermen, but as beaches go, very good indeed. Took our dog to Sanibel and visited Bowman's Beach which is dog friendly. He loved the gulf and even though it was a little cool we had a good time walking, shelling and talking with folks. Take your dog today. He will love you for it!
