This is the beach that I grew up on, and when it was "natural" before they dreged the gulf, it was BEAUTIFUL, just like Siesta. However, now it is less powdery sand, and more shell sand, but still a beautiful area to spend some time in the sun and water.

This beach is the best for all. The sea shells are wonderful the Gulf is breath taking and you can sleep and rest for hours with no one to bother you. The kids loved to play on the beach and build sand castle and catch fish.

enjoyed the beach and not too crowded. We stayed a few days and walked to the beach everyday.

The ease of Parking, the Pool is so convenient, and the Lido Beach Tiki Bar for lunch and cocktails! The Beach is gorgeous and lots of shells to pick! Nice and usually quiet unless its season. We can get shells and the water is beautiful.

Spent a crowded but still enjoyable Saturday here. We set up a tent to temper the heat and brought chairs, a cooler, tunes, snacks, etc. Water was the perfect temp. Even a manatee swam by and wowed the crowd. Great sand and lots of shells. Couldn't ask for more!

Loved the free, ample parking. Plenty of room on the beach - not too crowded. The water temperature and clarity were good. Found my first sand dollar while walking on the shore!

But Lido does not have the Hip Young College Crowsd

Just awesome.... Great beach, surf, shells, and people.
