Dissapointed at the shows. Good for school kids maybe.

If you need to spend some time entertaining the kids and don't want to exhaust yourself this is a good place to go. Jungle Gardens has been in the area for a long time. The age of this place show that. The entrance fee is hig for what you actually get. I was impressed with the jungle like foliage. I think this is somwhat a secret, as I was there on a beautiful day, and felt as tho I had the grounds to myself. Perhaps the admission is too high??

We took our 4 and 2 year old daughters to the Jungle Gardens while staying in Siesta Key. I was quickly reminded of visiting Florida when I was a child. The children were entertained by the animals and shows. The walk around the park was leisurely and pleasant. We stayed about 2 hours which I would guess is typical.

This is a place that has been resurrected. It is pleasant, clean, and filled with all types of Florida species and more.
