I just read some of the reviews. There is just no accounting for malcontents. The aquarium is a bit pricey. If you have to pay full price ($20/person) don't bother. The cruise port is next door so I think this place is for cruisers needing to pass time. My wife and I went and were grateful once we stepped inside that we'd had a 50% off coupon . The place is old, worn and smelly and we were finished in an hour, as others have mentioned. There just isn't much to the place and it's not worth paying full price unless you're taking kids. more

Just took our two-year-old, and it was a GREAT time. The aquarium itself is very cool, lots of things to see. The kids waterpark/shoreline attraction was our daughter's favorite part. There's also a nice tiki-bar overlooking the water play area. more

I love aquariums, but this one did not cut it. We came here on a rainy day in Tampa (24 and 25 year old couple), and it was overrun by young kids and strollers. I understand the aquarium is a place for children, but I don't need a kid to scream and slam into me at every corner or someone... more

We enjoyed the aquarium with 4 kids from ages 2 through 7. All the kids enjoyed seeing the animals and there was a nice variety of sea life to look at.
