I liked the old charm of this town. I also liked seeing the old original trolley. A good selection of restaurants to eat at. Parking for us was free and easy to get a parking space.

I have gone to Ybor City for many years and looked forward to going back again after 18 years. What a disappointment. It wasn't like it used to be. I know nothing stays the same, but we all hope things will get better. In the case of Ybor City, that wasn't the case. Gone were the quaint little shops that...

We went to Ybor City for a quick sightseeing and ended up discovering a fascinating place with very rich history. We spent a good couple of hours at the Centennial Museum, where we learned about the history of Ybor Martinez, the man who brought the tobacco industry to the area boosting growth and creating thousands of jobs. The place was...

Look forward to seeing the completely renovated area to its original historic value.
Visited on a Sunday afternoon, probably after a busy Saturday night. Interesting neighborhood loaded with restaurants, bars, and tattoo parlors. Ybor could be a nice area if it were taken care of. The streets need a good cleaning as do the storefront windows. There are unneccessary posted bills on the outside of many buildings that are unsightly and should be...

Ybor City, while small, is one of those places you can go to for a nice stroll. It is a combination of both history and modern day entertainment. There are many cafes and restaurants to choose from, as well as bars for late night partying.

Love visitin to eat crêpes, hehe. A bit of a flare to Bourbon Street in New Orleans without the daily drunks, lol. You will gind lits of places nightclubs including gay, tatoos, restaurants and cigar shops. Small street strip, but quaint. A bit wild at night and in Guavaween!!
I was expecting more from Ybor City. We went in the afternoon, cruised around then decided to come back later. The atmosphere was much more lively at night. If it's shopping you are looking for, you will be disappointed.
Ybor City near downtown Tampa and the Harbor was largely settled by people from Cuba and most of the jobs were making hand rolled cigars.
The area is a unique development of Cuban Spanish Colonial style buildings and homes which have been preserved and new buildings also follow the same style. The area went into decline with the loss of...
