If you have the chance to visit do so. The building is amazing but to me the ceiling is the best looking like the sky. more
The Tampa Theater is great for many reasons. I have to say....I LOVE THIS PLACE. On a recent trip to Tampa, I bought tickets to see the Robert Cray band at the Tampa Theatre. This place is amazing -- the decor is gorgeous and highly ornate. I spent a good 20 minutes wandering around the place after the show, just looking at everything. And what a fun place... more
Tampa Theatre has to be one of the best examples of old style movie palace architecture anywhere. The 1,446 seat auditorium resembles a mediterranean courtyard at night, complete with twinkling stars and floating clouds overhead.
