I had read so much about the Sponge Docks, but when we drove over there, it was basically one long winding sidewalk of tacky tourist shops. If there was an education/demonstration to be see, I sure as heck didn't see it! It looked so touristy that we didn't even stop to check anything out. I was disappointed. more

Wonderful atmosphere, great food and shopping. A site to see!I spent a Saturday afternoon browsing shops full of greek souvineers, Greek bakeries, Greek Lace shop, and of course Greek restaurants. My family and I visit Sponge Docks every so often when the weather's nice. Sponge Docks is a waterside shopping and dining area.
