It's an ok beach, but we went for the shark's teeth. Lifeguard said the odds of finding a tooth on the beach is the same as being hit by lightning. Apparently, and the locals confirmed, that the way you get shark's teeth is to use one of the scoops, go out waist deep between the sand bar and the shore... more

my family where just in venice,fl in april . it was are 1st time there ,are family owns a condo so we visited with are 2 small children 4,5 yrs old. The water was so blue and the waves were gentle and a soft undertoe. there were so many seashells are kids had a ball.its just so peaceful you will... more
