Aneth is an amazing tour guide. Not sure what to do when you come to FL or your a local like me you can't miss this. It's not like a zoo at all it's like being at home with some Tigers. Up close and personal, you learn so much because it's a guided tour. Skip the zoo go here!

This is a great place to visit for anyone at any age. It is not a business so they do things differently. You have to make a reservation and pay with a credit card over the phone. Our family had a great time at McCarthy's Wildlife Sanctuary. Our tour guide Aneth showed her love for ALL the animals. She talked to them which was fantastic. The animals were very responsive. The sanctuary was clean! We would definitely recommend over a large zoo. It was a perfect worth while and educational experience.

Went with two adults on a quiet weekday in May 2012. There were only 4 people on our tour so we finished the tour in about an hour and 40 minutes. This was a great attraction! Not only did we get to see so many different animals but the work the McCarthys are doing of animal rescue and rehabilitation is fantastic. They really care! Our guide, Kara was very bubbly and clearly knows the animals but above all, she loves and cares about them. Definitely a must see.
