This is a great little zoo. I have been going there for five years and now that I have small children, the size of the zoo fits perfectly with their attention span. Do not expect a world-class experience, but if you have two hours and need something to do with the kids this is your place. more

Small but cozy zoo. Beautifully landscaped and very cool mayan section. It's shady, you dont have to walk so far in between the animals like Miami Metro Zoo. I was able to spend about 3hrs here on a monday morning. What I noticed first was the lush greenery which covered many of the walkways.
