On March 21, 2009 I visited Norton, and spent about 4 hours there. Since I'm a student I got the student rate so I saw the whole place, including the extra collections, for only $5. Totally worth it; I would have paid more! The museum is a bit of a maze, and the map of the more complicated first floor... more

Recently,this delightful art museum improved its permanent collection with fine paintings by these Old Masters;Dirk Van Delen,Peter Paul Rubens,Joos Mompers II,Adrien Hanneman,Nicolas Maes,Guisseppe Crespi,just to name a few.This art museum also added fine Nineteenth Century paintings to their permanent holdings by;Gustave Caillebotte,Corot,Henri Harpignies,Gauguin,and Joaquin Sorrolla.My favorite recent additions to my beloved Norton Art Museum are;Dirk Van Delen's"Church Interior",Boucher's"Allegory to Marriage",and... more

Excellent museum with a fine selection of art. Staff were friendly and knowledgable. I was particularly impressed with the way that schoolchildren were being taught. They were having fun without being a bother to other people. English museums could learn a lot from this place. more
