Our family has been going to the South Florida Science Museum since our daughter (who is now 7!) was 2 years old. Over the past year, the Museum redid its outdoor science exhibits (one of our favorites) and created a family picnic area which we love. We attended the Max Plank tunnel which was in a huge new exhibit area... more
The collection is very eclectic but well put together. Lots to do and a great way to spend a rainy day. We really enjoyed spending several hours here while waiting to goto the zoo. Go and enjoy, your kids will be entertained unless they require a gameboy attached to their chins. more
The place was very small and dirty. The staff was rude and could not entertain my child! I do not suggest this museum at all!!! more
A small, but well put together science museum and aquarium. Their offerings are a little scattered and incomplete, representing what they happen to have, instead of a good overview of the topics covered, though what they do have is well displayed, and kept in good working order (not always the case with hands-on museums for children).
