This particular state park was my first experience with Georgia State Parks; let me tell you I was impressed. It is very spread out with plenty of trails to trek. A lodge is located on the premises if you do not want to camp or stay in a cabin. The park sits on Lake Altoona. While it has considerable evidence... more
