This is a beautiful double waterfall. The .4 mile paved trail is fairly easy. Our walk up was littered with small Blue Common Butterflies. They were everywhere! The falls are gorgeous and a great spot for photos. The trail has several stone benches for easy rests andfollows the water from the falls. The visitor center is very well kept, also.

A quarter mile long paved road hike to a great big waterfall and deck area!

with benches along the way, ample parking, restrooms and facilities for the handicapped, this trail takes you up a relatively easy climb thru impressive elevation to the breath-taking Anna Ruby Falls. Elderly and handicapped will need to stop often, hence the benches, but it's worth the effort. Lovely stream, rushing rapids, twin waterfalls - and peace.

You can walk a paved trail for about 30 minutes and see the falls. They have benches along the way. The trail does have some inclined areas but children and older people were making the trip and we had a little boy that was vision imparied and he made the trip no problem. The trail runs along the creek and... More

The hike up to the falls is not terribly steep, but it is challenging to those not in very good shape. Older folks will find that a hiking stick is helpful.

Put your hiking shoes on. The *paved* trail goes UP to the falls. I've seen folks push wheelchairs up that trail. Getting to the top is worth it, and so are the trees that seem to grow right out of the rocks all along the way - rocks haning over thin air. Benches to stop at on the trail, Center... More

We visited Anna Ruby Falls while on a weekend getaway at Unicoi State Park. It's well worth the steep-in-places 1/2 mile or so hike up to the falls. The path is smooth black-top. There are places to stop and rest along the way. Many great photo opportunities as well. It's a nice 2-hour side excursion if you're in the area.... More

Years ago, this was a trek that was a bit difficult; but in recent times, a paved walk with occasional benches has been added. It is do-able for all ages, including young children, and your effort will be rewarded. An A+ waterfall experience.

This Federal park is due north of Helen, GA next to Unicoi State park. We visited yesterday and it was wonderful considering it's the middle of the winter. You have to go to the gift shop to pay the entrance fee ($2 per person). Then it's a easy 4/10 of a mile walk up a paved path. At the top,... More
