Highlights of the naval museum are several reconstructed civil war era ships. Our 9 and 10 year old boys (not history lovers) loved exploring the ships. The historically accurate signage is excellent and informative. And the souvenirs in the museum shop were reasonably priced. more

Tucked away off Highway 27 near the Chattahoochee River and the Sports Complex, it could use a bit more signage on how to get into the parking lot. Admission was only $6.50 and it was worth it. A lot of information, replicas and relatively easy to move through. Hardly anyone there to disturb you. more
