The Mead Observatory is open to the public once a month for astronomical viewing. There are shows in the Omnisphere Theatre and Challenger Learning Center missions. « less

My husband and I recently visited the Space Center and were very disappointed. The $6 per person admission charge didn't seem to cost all that much but after spending five minutes there, we felt robbed to say the least. The entire Center contains no more than 10 exhibits. The Coca-Cola Space Science Centers Omnisphere Theater is not your average, take a nap, planetarium. It is a prime example of a new era in planetarium technology. The shows are truly a multimedia experience. It is like an IMAX show on steroids. Would highly recommend!!!! more
