The Kangaroo Conservation Center is a great place to visit -- great for kids and adults. You can bring your camera, walking shoes with you and you can also ride the Kangaroo Ranger around the grounds for a fee. They tell you all about the "roos" and show you the pouch and provide you with the MOST interesting information about... more

We visited the Kangaroo Conservation Center on Saturday, October 10, 2009 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The kindness of the staff was truly amazing. My sister-in-law is disable and was really worried about being able to get on the trolley. The staff put up a ramp and helped her get on and off. They were wonderful and went above and... more

My wife and I visited the Kangaroo Conservation Center and had a great time. We planned to be in the area, ordered tickets on line and arrived early. Very nice facility, clean, well maintained, the gift shop had a lot of neat items. This is a small park however the riding tour was very entertaining and full of information about... more

This place is well worth the ride outside of Atlanta! Great place to take the kids, or for animal loving adults. You can get up close and personal with the roos and other animals and the land that the center is situated on is in the beautiful GA mountains. A must see if you are in the area! more

We had a great vacation in Georgia. While there we spent some time at Stone Mountain Park. It is a wonderful place to visit. Lots to do. They have a great laser show at night. Our favorite thing to do , though is to hike up the side of Stone Mountain. Very family oriented park. There is something for everyone... more

Enjoyed the visit-although difficult to find bailey waters st.. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Took a boomerang lesson-visited the animals via a tram ride and saw a small show which was delightful--We got to pet the kangaroos--young children are not allowed so call ahead and check as well as for tour times-----The attraction is average---the animals are above average---- more

This place was alot of fun. I recommend getting the behind the scenes adventure. You get to do everything else plus find out more about the Kangaroos. Make sure that you buy tickets in advance. Wear your walking shoes, it is alot of walking. Pack a picnic lunch, there are places to picnic. All that they really have to eat... more

The tour was not available to the whole group. So we bought tickets and asked to be on wait list. Since it was sold out I had to stay in car because the gift shop closes and there is nowhere else to wait. The rest of the party enjoyed the tour. more

We went here on Earthday, supposedly a big ta-do, but it was really a little lame. The Earthday portion consisted of an inflatable globe beach ball in the middle of a field, and a tent with science fair type posterboards telling us how to be Earth friendly. We stayed for some educational talks, of which the staff seemed fairly knowledgable.... more
