Jekyll Island is real close to I-95, off exit 29 in Georgia. it makes it an easy place to get to, and once you are there you feel like you are thousands of miles away. We come down each winter and love the golf and the quiet beaches! People are great too! more

We stopped here on our last trip north, about November 20th, 2007. It is easy to drive there and the grounds are beautiful. As we arrived, we saw a trawlor on the ICW exactly like the one we sailed by a year ago. The history and decor was excellent, the room was a small corner, but allowed smoking. The highlight... more

Jekyll Island Golf Resort offers three great golf courses at one location. Pine Lakes is the better of the three(great layout). Oleandor is a very tough course, especially if wet. Indian Mound is the easier of the courses, but still a very good layout. The golf staff is very helpful and friendly that makes our golf trip a breeze to... more

My wife and I played Indian Mound twice last week while staying at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel. It was in very good condition, it was a fair course, and greens rolled very well. We were going to play Pine Lakes but it was being ariated (sp) so we didn't get to play it but it looked very nice from... more

Great Courses! Pine Lakes is the most playable of the 3 18's but you must play them all. BE sure and add a club since the ball doesn't go as far AT SEA LEVEL! more

Pine Lakes is the best lay out of the 4 course, it's newly renovated with nice greens and fairways. Oleander is tough if its windy, especially # 12 plays like a par 5. Indian Mounds is pretty wide open. The ocean course can be a true test if there's wind. The greens are like postage stamps. True old style links... more

The "perfect" golf vacation location. For twelve years I've been organizing a week long golf outing each May for about a dozen men. Although a two hour longer drive than to hundreds of courses at Myrtle Beach, you can't beat the friendly attitude of the professionals and staff, the price or the quality of the three courses that make of... more

The golf is fantastic. Of the 3 courses, Pine Lakes is by far the best. Indian Mound is quite good as well, but Oleander is in desparate need of irrigation. It is a very wet course on which the maintenance equipment can't always get onto and as a result, the fairways are shaggy and the overall appearance of this course... more
