My husband and I are from the Chattanooga area and recently moved away. We came back during our honeymoon and the place only gets better with every visit. The natural beauty of the rock formations is evident and not messed with. The views from the edge of the mountain are spectacular on even a cloudy day but on a great... More

We loved the nature, the views and the waterfalls. Loved all of the rock formations and the history, however I was thrown a little off guard by the creepy glowing gnomes on the fairytale walk and the strange cavern with all of the glow-in the dark mother goose characters. I know they are just trying to fill the space with... More

I was a bit worried it would be a cheesy old attraction but was wonderfully surprised by how beautiful it was. Spectacular rock formations interspersed with incredible gardens and walking paths that criss-crossed the entire property. Don't miss it!

Put your walking shoes on . stroll on through the self guided path of beautiful flowers and sights along the way. See seven states in the middle. Walk the swinging bridge then end in the fairy tale cavern of sorts ..awesome! Don't miss this one

If you like to hike, enjoy nature and outstanding views, you will appreciate Rock City Gardens. The waterfall, wooden bridge, Fat Man's squeeze through the rocks, and paths were great. The outlook of 7 different states is awesome. Lots of photo opps. I wish we could come back when more flowers and trees were blooming. Take time to enjoy some... More

The location is pretty. Atop Lookout Mountain looking down on Chattanooga, but the admission price is a little steep for what you get. The kids found it boring because you has to stay on the path, so it amounted to a walk on the sidewalk in a pretty mountaintop location.

If the kids have been really bad, a day here isn't such a bad way to punish them. Boredom isn't considered child abuse.

It offers great views and trails throughout the property. We really enjoyed it but found the last part, a little room a bit hokey.

Great care was taken to make this rock formation a splendid attraction. Felt like the best kept secret we found on our trip! My youngest enjoyed learning all the tree names. My oldest enjoyed the place where you can see so many states. The people are friendly and the trails are fun to walk through. Definitely a place to experience!

Capture some vintage Americana: WPA era stonework, clear mountain air, and a large array of whimsical diorama interpretations of fairy tales and rhymes. It's not Disneyworld, but it's well worth a stop to see a real time-capsule of what a road trip used to mean.
