This is a great place to pack a lunch and go on a hike. There are a few places set up along the river that have benches where you can sit and relax as well as do some exploring. We enjoy the area around The Old Roswell Mill.

Great place to go kayaking, hiking, or simply enjoy one of the parks along the river. Wonderful place to be early in the morning when nature is just starting to come alive.

The recreation areas are a really great place to go for a walk. Safe and beautiful.

There are several places to hike and fish along the river, all are managed by the National Park service. See www.nps.gov/chat/index.html The one in Roswell off Northridge rd is very scenic with shoals. The one at 285 near powers ferry is very popular with joggers. Some are.mtn bike freindly, some historic, most lead to quieter trails.

rented bikes at a Roswell park and rode them along the chattahoochee river and had such a blast. We are going to back to rent canoes and do the 4hr ride down the river
