Part of the Ridge to River trail system, Hull's Gulch is a very nice, well maintained, and easy to negotiate hiking trail. It's very simple to find...just go north on 8th in Downtown Boise and follow it until it turns into a dirt road. About 3 miles later there is a parking area labeled Hull's Gulch Interpretive Trail.
